LOL... Yeah it was a bit chilly out here that day.

Photo is from "demo mode" value testing and shows a default open temp circuit value that GM uses. The Outside Temp gauge is actually reading IAT2 [charged air temps] on the Duramax setup. Seems the NMEA group overlooked a few parameters we might want to monitor that are found over in the J1939 variant. Important diesel stuff like IAT, EGT and Fuel Rail pressure to name a few.

So I figured, lets just substitute something. If your boat is large enough that you can't tell the outside air temp, you sure as heck don't need my device.. They also maxed out fuel pressure values at 2,999psi. While a new common rails typically run up to 29,900psi. So I used a simple x10 scaling.. 1,500psi is actually 15,000psi true. If using the gateway with custom gauges from say Livorsi, ya just have them change the face name and scaling. Problems solved.

After a couple delays in production, have 50 new gateway PCB's in final stage of assembly. We changed the board layout a bit to remove the cable drop leads, and allow for easier surface mounting. Also modified the firmware so end users may now load their own custom protocols or ARBID sets. This option should allow any modern ECM to work with any CANbus based display available today. Our most requested upgrade, you can now drop that Hellcat engine in a boat with plug N play gauges or LCD displays.

Should have these new versions ready to ship out within two weeks.
