    Power steering

Got new used boat 22' Laser 03 496 mag with bravo one outdrive runs awesome
Power Steering seems to work OK until you let your hand off the wheel and it pulls to the left.
Is there any adjustment to this or is this the start of a problem,
    JV

Assuming that you are talking the standard Mercruiser Inboard power steering, not external hydraulic steering. Yes, there is an adjustment (more like a check). Getting to the steering ram is a problem, but what you are looking for is the wrench flats on the ram. They should be vertically oriented. If they are not, the steering will pull one way or another. The flats I am talking about are on the outer ram in the upper left quadrant of this picture.

Here is the view with the engine in the boat. You can usually see the flats to check them even if reaching them is a pain. If the ram must be turned, you will have to loosen the locknut on the cable.

If the flats are vertical, then check for play in the steering by trying to move the outdrive back and forth by hand.

    OK awesome
It looks like the black cable coming into the ram at the top of the picture that nut needs to be loosened and then move the flat spot straight up and down, If need be
    is that right
    Thanks
