A quick glance through Boattrader is pretty informative. People seem to think those are worth a lot.

Since the boat market now days is all OB CC's they probably will never come down in price. last year I spied on a couple for research reasons only . IIRC they were in the 60K+ range . I'll take the 33 or 36 for that money. But Still a cool boat. I wonder how use full the front cabin is?

Did he move to Orlando? Phil was in Rhode Island wasn't he?

That IS a lot of boat for the money, and a good looking rig too. It's got every option including K planes and I've never seen clip on cowlings decorated like that. Why is it listed with 250's then has merc racing Pro XS 300's in the pix? Don't really get those depth gauges mounted side by side either.

I've heard they don't fish that well and have had problems with the floors (sole) holding up/getting soft.

My bet is USCG rated twin 250 for hull. 300s were direct bolt in replacement or repowered.

Is it just me or is that a strange article? Sounds more like the company is for sale vs having a firm agreement in place. Lots of "50 cent language" from the CEO and very little info.

I don't think the boat (340) has any HP limitations Leroy.

Edit: those 3.0 pro XS are some bad ass motors, well over "300 HP" The orange stripe/Merc Racing 2.5 was 280hp out of the box. They run like 9k RPM. (needs research)

He's still in Boston, but I don't know where the boat went. Now that you mention it, pretty sure his had 250's.

Youre probably right, but i still think Perhaps the boat came powered with 250 and was repowered up with the 300s. Im Going to look it up and see what I can find.

The old 2.5 merc offshore was a bad sombitch in its day. I know alot of guys who can testify to that. Saw alot of them on bassboats and such as a kid.

65k for 700 hr salt water boat and engines seems steep. Then again it is just the asking price.
But I do not know CC's or outboards that much.
It dose say 250's. I wonder if the owner just put 300 decals on it for sand bar and marina "cool points"

Ok. Let's just run with that for a minute.

Twin engine OB (does not have to be CC, but that is probably the majority of offerings) for under 50k.

    What's your favorite?

I'm lost. I don't even know what that target defines in the marketplace.

700 hours is nothing on that 2 stroke Pro XS. Now add that little orange stripe from Merc Racing and that changes the maintenance game.

are you asking me what I would buy ?? for 50k...........I don't know the CC market, just thought that link I posted looked like a good starting point, the CC market is HOT just like the clean used V-bottoms, on the other site there were twice the used Cigs a yr ago as there are today.

A bit out of the box maybe, but if you imported a 30' Panga hull from Mexico and rigged it with a couple of 200hp Yammies you could damn near be in that price range brand new. Every time we go out in one I'm more impressed with the ride. There is a company in FL making them, but they're proud of them.

    Used 2009 Concept 32 Center Console, Pottsboro, Tx - 75076 - BoatTrader.com

When Robert, aka Mseuro on the boards bought the 405 off Texoma/Pottsboro, the ask price was similar. He paid closer to your target Lt.

Edit: here's the current sales page. That's a good lookin kick ass boat IMO
