Went right over my house first. I slowed it down a tiny bit for him. Satellite photo at 9:33AM Sunday
Only a Cat 2 when it hit my house. Our area was clobbered with wind. We will be among the last to get power back. Nearly every power pole is broke.
The estimate is 10 days for power.

    Hobe, the house OK?

Or more appropriate, are you and Christy OK? I know from experience what a week with Kendall is like!

You're saying the hurricane hit INSIDE your house? Tough to walk across the floor with all those empties in the way isn't it?

The beer that was in the fridge was cold
The refugees can drink, I'll repeat the refugees can drink, plus they have coolers, and it's their beer anyway so I expect to see an empty fridge just as they found it

I hope at least you're gonna tell us what it is/some specs.

Hobe I'm hearinging these reports of several people already kilt by portable generators/CO poisoning. Be safe when you get there. Hope they get the power on soon. The overnight satellite looked bad, DARK in S Florida. Barely a light on all the way down the keys. Few areas of Miami were lit up.
    ...ridin dirty aboard...

Thanks guys. We are fine. I think I have scirocis of the river. My spotters tell me the house seemed fine at first glance. Somewhat comforting. Stuff in the 2 fridges will be nasty. Been powerless since Sunday.
We decided to stay with Keef until me or John had power. All the spotters were saying...."don't come back. Life is dark and lonely."
